Colm C, Ennis – “On the 14th of August my three cousins, my brother and I went with Michael on a kayaking trip in Killarney National Park out to Inisfallen Island. This wasn’t our first time with Mór Active, we’ve been customers of Michael’s for years, ever since he first started up years ago! We keep coming back for the genuine good times, adventure and fun that Michael brings to each activity. Mór Active really is a highlight of every trip we make to Kerry! We also learnt lots that day of the history of the park and the island, and got the chance to see some deer up close which was a magical experience! I know we’ll be back again next year!”

Emma B, Dingle Tour – “From start to finish the tour was relaxed, enjoyable, and so far removed from your typical tour. We went at our own pace, saw some sights that weren’t on the standard tourist route (like minard castle and the fairy tree), and never felt rushed to get back in the coach.

If you’re looking for a real, meaningful, irish tour – pick this one!

Thanks so much for a brilliant tour!”

Rebecca D – “These guides are incredible. The only thing better than the amazing scenery and peaceful location are the guides who are just up for a bit of craic and take you out on these amazing hikes. We hiked Mt Brandon, I found the beginning of the ascent quite difficult but our guides were pure sound and made it so much easier with their jokes and anecdotes. It was really well organised and each person was catered for. I felt I could have stayed in Dingle, I felt so welcomed. We spent two days there. The hostel ‘rainbow hostel’ I think it was called. It was class. So antique and cosy. There’s a big typical Irish kitchen, equipped with a piano and a long table with chairs. The dorms were warm and cosy and the washrooms were grand. Huge thanks to the guys and gals from Mór Active.”

Daithi – “Mor Active brought a gang of us out Kayaking and Coasteering for a stag outing in Cahersiveern and it was epic. Not for the faint hearted but Michael and Liz tailored the experience to suit your ability and a brilliant day was had by all. The coasteering is terrifying but an adrenalin filled experience and there are small to big jumps again to suit your ability. I would highly recommend the kayaking and coasteering”

Steve G – “We have just returned from spending a family holiday in Killarney, as part of this we spent 2 days with Michael of Mor Active. I highly recommend both the company and Michael. We spent an afternoon Kayaking to Innisfallen Island. The equipment and instruction were fantastic. Michael blended his passion for the outdoor activities and his knowledge of the history and geology of the area perfectly. We enjoyed the day so much we used Michael the following day to guide us up Carrauntohil. Although we are competent trekkers the weather was wet and the river crossings to Devil’s ladder too high for us. If we’d been on our own we would have been forced to turn back. But Michael’s skills and knowledge led us to the top via Heavenly Gates. A beautiful route which we wouldn’t have ever dreamed of doing on our own. A great couple of days and enjoyed by us all. Many thanks”

MAMAHER, Tipperary – “Went on a kayaking trip from Ross Castle to Innisfallen Island with Michael & Darius, who were wonderful.
We were a family of 4 adults & 3 children.
Got a brilliant historical report on the Castle, abbey, lakes and surrounding area. Great to see all the deer on the island so close up.
If you are looking for something different to do as a family, even for a novice it is a fantastic thing to do, we all loved it.”

John G, Tralee – “Simply a must do for anyone visiting Killarney. The tour allows you to land on Innishfallen island and tour the abandoned Monastery where the Annals of Innishfallen originated. Untouched except for the local Deer it is a spectacular sight.
The guys were great and provided plenty of history and local knowledge on the site.
The whole group was smiling from begining to end.
I highly reccommend this to anyone!”

Emily W, California – “We decided to go on the Ring of Kerry tour at the last minute, and showed up at the booking office about an hour before the tour left. The tour we went on was actually a Ring of Kerry plus coasteering package, but since we didn’t want to do the coasteering, Michael kindly arranged for us to stay in a small town while the rest of the group did the activity. Michael was a great tour guide, very friendly and knowledgable about everything. I had an amazing time on the tour and would definitely recommend it to others and would go on it again myself!”

Muireann F, Dublin – “Super trip out to Ross Castle with Michael, we had a great time and the local knowledge and history of the lakes was great to hear. I’ve been coming to Killarney for years and this was the first time I’ve been kayaking on the lakes. It definitely won’t be the last time. Do yourself a favour and book with Mór Active”
