MAYBE YOU HAVE HEARD OF STAR WARS? Well, now is your chance to experience up close the setting of The Force Awakens on our unique tour of the Ring of Kerry.
Our tour experience commences in Killarney from where we will take you off the beaten track to explore the spectacular scenery of the real Ring of Kerry and unearth the true secrets of the wild Skellig Islands.
Arriving in Portmagee, which is the gateway to the Skellig Islands, we will take you on an eco boat tour that circles both Islands. We bring you right up close to Skellig Michael and Skellig Beag, so you get to experience their unique magical setting on the very edge of the World, the incredible wildlife, learn about the Monks that lived on the largest of the Skellig Islands from the 6th-12th Century and experience the story of how some of Hollywood’s biggest stars showed up in this tiny coastal setting.
When we return to Portmagee, we will visit the Bridge Bar to discover where the Jedi Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) learned how to pull his first pint of Guinness. You too can avail of the opportunity to become a Guinness Jedi Master as you use the Force to pull your own perfect pint and receive your very own Skellig Wars Certificate.
After a well-earned bite to eat, we jump back onto the Ring of Kerry, slowly making our way to Killarney, stopping off at many spectacular viewing points to learn about how each location has shaped our history and the opportunity to take that one picture that will ensure an everlasting memory of your Skellig experience. Now that is unique!!
